It's been almost a year since I lost my close friend Carrie to breast cancer. She was a very special friend to me for more than 20 years, and I don't think I'll ever be able to remove her contact information from my phone. She was, and continues to be, an inspiration to me, and everyone who knew her. This month, I'd like to dedicate a post to her, and to all those who are, have been, or will be impacted by breast cancer.
Since October is the official month for breast cancer awareness, we decided to create something pretty, pink and pocket-sized for all the courageous women out there who continue to be bold, brave and strong.

Even though Carrie didn't like pink, and her favorite cause is World War II veterans, I'm still hoping she will appreciate my idea to celebrate her life and breast cancer awareness.
