Rival Teams, Shared Love
Some grandmas bake cookies, some spoil with hugs, but this sassy Buffalo Bills Grandma (our friend Michelle,) stitches love into every seam. Alongside her quilting besties (that's us, Jo-Ann & Julie), she spent months sewing not one, but two, extraordinary football team baby quilts for two young parents who just happen to cheer for opposing teams: the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sip & Stitch
This lifelong Bills fan and her patchwork pals knew these quilts were about more than patterns and stitchesâitâs about community. For months, we gathered for sip and stitch sessions that included everything from lemon drops to watermelon margaritas! There weren't any touchdowns, but there was plenty of cheering, chatting, and celebrating as we cut, pieced, and stitched together two incredibly spirited baby quilts that lovingly honored both teams.

When baby girl Melia arrived two years ago, the quilt was readyâBuffalo blue and red stitched right alongside Pittsburgh black and gold, symbolizing rivalry and unity all in one, with a pretty-n pink backing for a girly-girl touch. We laughed, stitched, and poured our hearts into every block!
Now, a year later, with the recent arrival of baby Mateo, the tradition continued on and another quilt woven with team spirit was completed celebrating grandma's pride and the joy of lifelong friendships.
No matter which team these little ones grow up cheering for, theyâll always be wrapped in loveâand in a quilt that tells their familyâs one-of-a-kind story.

We'd be honored to tell your family's story with our one-of-a-kind quilts.
Share one at an upcoming baby reveal of your own, or maybe you have a family rivalry to commemorate for years to come. We love quilting for you!!
